Homegrown
brand MINT celebrates its 10th year in the fashion retail industry
as it opens Philippine Fashion Week at the SMX Convention Center. MINT kicks-off
the fashion party presenting its latest collection and its newest endorsers: Xian
Lim, Sam Pinto, and Gerald Anderson.
Starting
out in 2002, MINT opened its first store at SM Southmall. Its vision was to
instill in the local market that homegrown fashion brands can also produce
stylish and quality products like international labels. With this at its core,
MINT has always given great attention to its design process. Only quality
materials are used to ensure that each piece will give comfort and style that
will last.
With
much support from SM Malls, Ayala Malls, Robinson’s Malls and other mall
operators, MINT was able to open 3-5 stores every year. Providing only a line
for women, the brand continued to expand in 2007 by introducing their men’s
line. Today, MINT continues to transform the local fashion industry with over
43 branches nationwide.
As
it celebrates a decade of fashion, MINT debuts in Philippine Fashion Week joining
the roster of distinguished local labels. It’s a party of color, style, and
music as MINT presents its latest collections.
Vintage
looks, neon colors, and tribal prints dominate the runway as MINT unveils their
Holiday Collection and Spring-Summer collection for 2013. Inspired by classic
OPM music, MINT presents a special line of shirts printed with the album covers
of timeless OPM artists that include Tito Vic & Joey, Pilita Corales, Juan
Dela Cruz, Rico J. Puno, Cinderella, Hagibis, and VST & Co. Mint’s special
line designed by renowned local designer Pepsi Herrera is also one of the
highlights at the show. Its pieces are casual with a tailored appeal that
radiates sophistication.
Manila’s
sexiest Sam Pinto, matinee idol Xian Lim, and today’s most sought after leading
man Gerald Anderson rock the runway as MINT’s newest endorsers.
A
presentation of true Filipino fashion, MINT celebrates 10 years of style as
they open the Philippine Fashion Week with their latest designs.
